I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where I was a 1981 graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory. In 1985 I graduated from the University of Notre Dame where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Mathematics. I have also received a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Texas in 1988.

I completed my legal education at the University of Houston Law Center where I worked full time throughout law school. I attended year round from the summer of 1991 until I earned the degree of Juris Doctor in December, 1994. I received my license from the Supreme Court of Texas to practice law in May, 1995.

My Wife and I made the decision to raise our family in a small town environment rather than the big city. Because of our love of the area, we decided to look in the Hill Country and south Texas for a town with a good quality of life and a vibrant community. I began my practice in Seguin in July, 1995 and have been living here ever since. I can proudly say that I am the past president of the Seguin Noon Lions Club, and have served on the St. James Catholic Church board where my family and I are still active parishioners.

From the beginning of my law practice, I have been in courtrooms throughout south Texas. I have successfully represented clients in legal matters that pertain to a very wide range of laws and have tried many cases to juries. In addition to litigating cases in state of Texas trial and appellate courts, I am also licensed to practice in the federal courts of the Western District of Texas. I am also licensed to practice in the state of Texas and am a member of the Texas Bar Association and Guadalupe County Bar Association.
